There is so much going on at Cedar during the months of April and May!  From musicals, book fairs, and spelling bees, to Field Day and a 4th Grade Farewell Party, please be sure to check out our calendar to the left. 2008 Kindergarten Registration May 13

Kindergarten registration for the 2008-2009 school year for the Avon Community School Corporation will be Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Registration hours are 1:00-6:00 p.m. at the home schools.

 

If you are uncertain which is your home school, please click here.  You may also contact the Administration Center at 272-2920 or the Transportation Center at 272-4307. Maps are also available for reference at the Washington Township Public Library.

 

A child must be five (5) years old on or before August 1, 2008, to be eligible for enrollment. A birth certificate and immunization record must be presented at this time in order to enroll. Additionally, proof of residency (two documents) is required. If a student does not live with both natural parents and there are custody documents, the parent should bring that information to registration. Please note: You do not need to bring your child with you as was previously published! Students will be assessed on their kindergarten readiness the first day of school. Parents will receive important information about the first day of school for their kindergarten student on this day. 

 

In order to expedite the registration process, registration packets may be picked up in the child’s home school office beginning April 21, 2008. Please bring completed packets to the registration center at the home school on May 13, 2008.
